Ready to start your journey?

Results that speak for themselves

RECEIVING

Developing the skill to sharpen receiving technique and win more strikes for your pitcher.

THROWING

Developing stronger arms and quicker exchanges — leading to:

  • 0.10–0.25 second pop-time decrease

  • 2–4 MPH arm strength increases

  • 5–10% boost in throw-out percentage across in-season performance.

BLOCKING

Building the mindset and movement to control the dirt and play with confidence under pressure.

From mindset to movement to performance — Coach Steve’s Goal is to build complete catchers.

Coach Steve’s Experience

Through his journey in academy baseball, college, and professional settings, Coach Steve has had the privilege of working with athletes at every level — from former MLB catchers and professional players to college commits and developing youth catchers.

His coaching philosophy has been shaped by years of being mentored by some of the best in the game — from his youth coaches who instilled the value of work ethic and respect, to former World Series champions, current big-league catching coaches, and college-level instructors who helped refine his approach to teaching movement, communication, and leadership behind the plate.

These influences helped Steve build the Iron Catching System, a proven framework centered around three pillars:

  • Mindset — confidence, leadership, and mental toughness.

  • Build — movement, mechanics, and consistency under pressure.

  • Perform — compete with control and execute when it matters most.

FAQ's

What ages do you train?

1-1 Sessions: I work with catchers ages 13–18. Camps and Clinics: 8-18 years old

Where are 1-1 Sessions Held?

All in-person sessions take place at multiple facilities in the Lake Country and Waukesha County Area

What training options do you offer?

I offer Hybrid and Online training programs to meet each athlete's needs. Hybrid Training — combines in-person sessions with online video feedback, weekly drill plans, and consistent communication. It's the most complete and effective system because athletes continue improving between lessons — not just during them. Online Training — for catchers who can't train in person. Each athlete receives personalized video analysis, customized weekly drills, and one-on-one check-ins to keep progress consistent and accountable. Each option follows the same core foundation — Mindset, Build, Perform — tailored to fit the athlete's schedule and access.

Do you host camps or clinics?

Yes — I will host seasonal 2-day catching camps and off-season clinics focused on skill development, leadership, and competition. Stay tuned for 2026–2027 camp announcements posted on the website and Instagram when registration opens.
